Well I wouldn’t say that light is evil persay. He is really more of an ani-hero. He does overall questionable deeds by questionable means, but he feels that it is for a greater good. I’m not suporting his actions, but I can relate to the situation as most people would (yet few could admit). Things realy arn’t so cut and dry, black and white, everything is just gray.

Though L was a total badass.

i like the first episodes better than the episodes now they’re just not as good. and the episode when L put camras in his room that was really suspencefull.

yeah, I think of it like that too. After all, L was probably the one who wanted to find someone to replace him one day, so to me it just seems like L is still causing trouble for that idiot Light, even after his death. L was a smart guy xD

Light would be an anti-hero if what he was doing was just to oppose L and be the best…but in addition to that he has this taking-over-the-world ambition like every classic villain. He’s certainly evil, he’s an evil genius though….

As for whether Light is good or evil, I agree with Wolfgang. Everyone has equal amounts of good and evil in them, and I think that this anime does a great job of showing that.

Mello, not much of a fan of him. But I like N ^^; He doesnt bother me and I dont think of him as a fake L. Though I agree its boring without L. And Near cant die! He is the only cute thing XD
