Wow, Kumoi only lasted one ep after he ran out of strong minions? He really should he been more careful with those guys, telling them to not pick fight they might not be able to win, etc.

Hey Certempler, Hueco Mundo hasn’t been dropped at all. The manga is still going with it. This story is just a filler that most likely takes place within an alternate reality. Hueco Mundo,and the Arrancars will return later once their done with most of the chapters.

Exactly, this is simply a filler arc I think is being used b/c the animators got lazy, perhaps. Kind of like the Bounto arc. I’m assuming there is something important that will help us to understand something later on, as, I’m assuming, in the Bounto arc, it gave somewhat of an explanation for why Rukia got her Shnigami powers back, and why she’s back in the living realm.
